In Calella we've got the rhythm in us. Music and dancing are always present in our parties and celebrations. From the popular dances to the sound of the coblas to jazz and the most authentic rock and roll, the desire to dance is never lacking and the styles are as varied as the people who visit us. Our city is a meeting point for rockabillies, bands, folklore and a variety of trends that enrich our cultural diversity and fill us with activity and joy throughout the year.

From our passion to move the body comes up the street swing meetings, a party open to everyone to dance and have fun non-stop. Every Thursday afternoon the Church Square becomes an improvised dance floor to move to swing rhythm and lindy hop. Both for expert dancers and for beginners, the street becomes the ideal setting to enjoy the best music of the 20s and 30s and be carried away by the impulse of its catchy melodies by the hand of The Hot Swing Machine Band! 

The energetic and fun rhythm of the swing captivates the eyes of the curious visitors, who are soon attracted by the show and begin to move their feet.
