The City Council of Calella signs an agreement with the "Festival & Contest" association of Rimini, Italy, with the aim of adding a new cultural proposal and extending the tourist season of the city.
Yesterday, Tuesday December 19, the Mayor of Calella, Montserrat Candini and the representative of the cultural association "Festival & Contest", Alexander Godun, signed a collaboration agreement for carrying out the International Artistic Festival "Catalonian Break".
This cultural contest will consist of two editions (spring and autumn) to be held respectively on April 29 and October 28, 2019 in Calella. It is a multidisciplinary artistic contest that will bring together attendees from different countries and will have a competition in the Sala Mozart, as well as shows and performances around the city.
Montserrat Candini said that "we are very happy that this festival can be held next year, so it represents the consolidation of the cultural Calella brand that we have been working for a long time". As explained by the Mayor, the signing of this agreement is the result of previous meetings carried out in Rimini by the City Council of Calella, during our participation in the TTG Incontri fair last October. He also expressed his satisfaction "with the fact that these type of companyies ‘knock at the door’ of Calella by themselves with the proposal of new festivals, because they have good references of Calella, so we keep consolidating the Calella cultural brand".
