Today is the opening of the exposition 'Responsible Tourism' in the MUTUR, organized with the collaboration of the Tourism High School Sant Ignasi.
Today Calella celebrates the International Day of Tourism with the opening of the exposition "Responsible Tourism" by the Mayor of Calella, Montserrat Candini.
At 19 h, the opening will start with the parliaments of the Mayor of Calella, Montserrat Candini, the Dean of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Direction Sant Ignasi (Ramon Llull University), Ricard Santomà, and the director of Museum of Tourism, Carme Torm. Right after there will be a guiding visit by doctor Cristian Palazzi, writer of the exposition's texts.
The exposition explains the origin of the word Responsible Tourism, the one that goes further than sun and beach and that worries about the environment and is concerned about economic, social and cultural issues of the territory that takes the tourism. The exposition is based on the contents of the World Letter of Responsible Tourism +20, signed in Vitoria on 2015.
The exposition will be available until 30th of May, at Museum of Tourism, from Tuesday to Saturday from 17 to 20 h, and Sunday and blank days from 11 to 18 h.
