Children’s activities and gastronomy are the main topics on ‘BritMums’ travel advises
Last Friday, 23rd of September, coinciding with the Festival of Minerva and the Fair of Calella and Alt Maresme, five British bloggers from the collective BritsMums specialized on families visited our city. They were doing a famtrip around different cities from the coast of Barcelona organized by the Tourism Office of Diputació de Barcelona.
This famtrip is organized after the participation of Calella on the workshop BritMums Live (#BML16) that took place in London the 24th and 25th of June and where more than 1000 British bloggers assisted. With this kind of actions, Calella wants to strengthen its promotion in the British market, that is known by its travels with the whole family.
During the day, the bloggers visited the Lighthouse, the Dalmau Park, the Church’s Square, the Town Hall Square, the fairy-tale street and the Vicenç Ferrer Square, the Fair of Calella and Alt Maresme and Water Sport Centre. The day ended having lunch on the beach restaurant “Nui Beach”. All the visits were meant to show the possibilities that Calella offers as a family tourism destination.
